Kantare is a Finnish brand of classical guitars, which has some peculiarities that distinguish it from the others.

His LRS top, a patented system of top bracing developed by Kauko Liikanen, gives it excellent dynamics and response, with an exceptional sustain.

Kantare is the only brand of classical guitars using Shellac finish on beginners and young learners range. Environmental low impact was the main reason that moved  Kantare to use this kind of varnish. Nevertheless, it is a pleasure to play an instrument that uses a finishing varnish normally applied only to high quality instruments.
